AI that knows
your people.
Dayfile gives Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI you use one private memory of your life — the people you care about, your routines, your calendar. It briefs your mornings, remembers what your friends are going through, and finds time together. Even when your friends use a different AI.

AI made us productive.
Not closer.
Your assistant can draft anything in seconds. It still doesn't know it's Marco's first week at the new job, that Dad waits for your Sunday call, or that Ana's birthday is three weeks out. It knows everything about the world — and nothing about your world. And whatever one AI does learn about you stays locked inside that one AI.
Show up prepared.
Every morning, your day comes back annotated with the people in it — who they are, what they're going through, what you promised.
Remember what matters.
Birthdays, worries, wins. Captured once, surfaced at the right moment, in every tool you use.
Find time together.
Mutual free time across friends' calendars — sharing only free/busy windows, never what's on anyone's schedule.
Remember the people who matter
Birthdays, preferences, what they're going through. Mention a name in any connected AI and the context is already there — and your morning briefing nudges you when it's time to check in.
Your Claude. Her ChatGPT.
One dinner.
Connect with a friend on Dayfile and either of you can ask your own AI to find time together. Dayfile computes the overlap across both calendars and shares only free/busy windows — never event names, never details. Different assistants, same evening.

Not every AI should see everything
The more your AI knows, the more useful it gets — and the more it matters where that knowledge goes. Dayfile scopes your memory into contexts: Work, Family, Workouts, whatever shapes your life.
Then you draw the lines. Each connected client gets its own allowlist, enforced on every read and write. A restricted client can't see outside its contexts — and can't write outside them either.
So capture everything. Your work tools never touch your personal life.
One private memory. Yours, not a vendor's.
Everything above runs on one thing: a memory you own, served over an open protocol. Claude's memory stays in Claude and ChatGPT's stays in ChatGPT — yours travels with you.
Portable. One profile, every tool.
Tell Dayfile once. Any MCP-capable client reads the same memory over OAuth — switch assistants, try the next thing. Nothing to re-teach, no lock-in.
Yours. Not a vendor's profile.
Every memory is plain text you can read, edit, export, and delete. Your whole profile exports as one document.
Boundaried. Enforced, not promised.
Per-client allowlists checked on every read and write — not a setting, a guarantee.
Google Calendar, on your terms
Connect your Google account and toggle each calendar visible or hidden. Your AI reads availability, searches events, and checks free/busy — and mutual free time with friends never exposes anyone's event details.
Built on MCP + OAuth 2.1
On Claude, adding Dayfile takes about two minutes — the same flow as the GitHub or Notion connector: paste a URL, sign in. ChatGPT connects via developer mode on paid plans. Cursor and any MCP client work too. Revoke any client, any time, from Settings.
Private, specifically
"Private" is a claim anyone can make. Here's what it means at Dayfile, exactly.
Memories are plain text you can read, edit, export, and delete — the whole profile exports as one document.
Recall uses a search embedding generated via Cohere. Memory text is sent for embedding only — here's exactly what leaves our servers and why.
Google tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256). Passwords are hashed. Access tokens are stored only as hashes.
Every AI connects over OAuth 2.1 and can be revoked in one click.
Per-client boundaries are enforced on every read and write — a restricted client can't even see unscoped memory.
